<p>Our client is seeking CDL A drivers to support local and regional yard operations in Houston, Texas. This long-term, on-site opportunity offers steady work, consistent routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $24 per hour</li>
  <li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Long-term flex</li>
  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Varies; most routes begin between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Yard Shifts:</strong> 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week</li>
  <li><strong>Layovers:</strong> One to two per week, typically one day</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

  <li>Perform yard moves and support local and regional routes.</li>
  <li>Safely operate automatic and manual equipment.</li>
  <li>Secure loads using proper strapping techniques.</li>
  <li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.</li>
  <li>Maintain accurate logs and communicate effectively with dispatch.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.</li>
  <li>2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>Dry van equipment experience.</li>
  <li>Hazmat endorsement.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
</ul>
