Local Route CDL A Driver - $29.10 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Enfield, CT. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details

	Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10pm - 12pm Start time
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Pay:  $29.10 Per hour, $1,000 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Route Type: Local deliveries to NY, ME, VT, NH, and MA
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: Car batteries and palletized freight
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment: Straight Truck 28&apos; and 53&apos; Trailer with liftgates
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack unload, occasional hand unload when a dock is not available
	
</ul>

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

CDL A Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>
	Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform required handling tasks including electric pallet jack unload
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable] 
	
</ul>
