<p><strong>CDL A – Local Driver – $27/Hour + OT + Bonuses + Union Benefits</strong></p>

<p>TransForce is seeking a CDL A Local Truck Driver to support operations based in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers consistent local routes, home daily scheduling, and strong union-backed benefits with long-term stability.</p>

<h3><strong>CDL A Driver Details:</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li><strong>Schedule:</strong> 6 days per week; primarily night shift / overnight operation with start times ranging from 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 8–12 hour shifts. <strong>Drivers MUST be comfortable working overnight hours, weekends, and flexible schedules.</strong> Shift assignments are determined through a union bid system based on seniority.
	<li><strong>Pay:</strong> $27/hour + overtime after 40 hours + attendance bonuses
	<li><strong>Bonuses:</strong> $100 weekly and $250 monthly on-time attendance bonuses
	<li><strong>Route Type:</strong> Local (Home Daily)
	<li><strong>Freight / Load Type:</strong> Fresh produce and food distribution
	<li><strong>Equipment:</strong> Tractor-trailer (53’ trailers)
</ul>

<h3><strong>CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>CDL A license required
	<li>2+ years of recent, verifiable CDL A experience
	<ul>
		<li>Military experience accepted with qualifying MOS and DD214
	</ul>
	
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no violations in the past 5 years)
	<li>Ability to work a 6-day schedule with flexible hours
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
	<li>Must pass background check and drug screening
</ul>

<h3><strong>CDL A Driver Responsibilities:</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Safely operate tractor-trailers on local routes
	<li>Transport and deliver fresh produce and food products
	<li>Load and unload freight using proper equipment and procedures
	<li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
	<li>Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
	<li>Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to changing conditions
	<li>Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues
	<li>Assist with returns and relay customer feedback
	<li>Support training of new drivers as needed
</ul>
