CDL B Driver - Heavy Touch - $24.50 Per Hour - Alabaster, Alabama
About the Position
We are currently seeking a CDL B Driver in Alabaster, Alabama, offering a competitive pay rate of $24.50 per hour. This position involves delivering medical equipment and supplies to clinics and homes, primarily focusing on renal care supplies, including IV bags, medications, and some dialysis machines.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- May be required to start as early as 5:00 AM depending on route needs
Job Details

- Equipment: Delivery vehicles suitable for transporting delicate medical supplies
- Handling: High touch position requiring care and attention to the safety of products
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients, residences, hospitals, and clinics
- Ensure products arrive safely and timely, maintaining utmost respect for clients
- Adhere to all safety protocols while handling delicate products
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Valid CDL
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Standard Ryder Hiring Requirements to be followed
