<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Class A CDL driver for local and regional sod hauling and delivery. This position is ideal for an experienced driver who is comfortable operating manual-transmission equipment, working outdoors, and supporting operations from harvesting through delivery and site watering. Drivers are home daily approximately 99% of the time.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule Details</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $24 per hour, depending on experience</li>
  <li><strong>Overtime:</strong> Time-and-a-half after 40 hours</li>
  <li><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week</li>
  <li><strong>Typical start time:</strong> 6:30 a.m. in Claremore, with earlier starts when project locations require additional travel time</li>
  <li><strong>End times:</strong> Vary based on project locations and load count; shifts may end between approximately 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Home time:</strong> Home daily approximately 99% of the time</li>
  <li><strong>Occasional travel:</strong> Rare out-of-town projects may require overnight stays, primarily for site watering duties</li>
  <li><strong>Employment type:</strong> Long-term flexible assignment</li>

  <li><strong>Handling:</strong> Heavy-touch work; drivers are trained to load, secure, and haul their own loads at harvesting sites</li>
  <li><strong>Work environment:</strong> Off-road driving, harvesting locations, project sites, and outdoor work in varying temperatures</li>
  <li><strong>Additional duties:</strong> Assist with watering sod at project sites</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Safely operate Class A manual-transmission trucks and flatbed trailers</li>
  <li>Navigate off-road access points at harvesting and project locations</li>
  <li>Load, secure, transport, and unload sod and related materials</li>
  <li>Learn to operate a front-end loader and load trucks independently</li>
  <li>Assist with watering sod at project sites as needed</li>
  <li>Complete deliveries safely, accurately, and on schedule</li>
  <li>Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach in changing outdoor conditions</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A CDL</li>
  <li>2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Demonstrated proficiency operating manual transmissions</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
  <li>Ability to strap and unstrap loads safely</li>
  <li>Ability and willingness to learn front-end loader operation</li>
  <li>Ability to work outdoors and withstand extreme temperatures</li>
  <li>At least 21 years of age</li>
</ul>
