CDL B Driver  - $23 - $28 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver to support local operations based in Groveport, OH. 

TTP:  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL B Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am to 8am start time, 8 hours per day on average - guarantee of 40 hours per week 

• Pay:  $23 to $28 per hour based on experience

• Route Type: Local home daily

• Freight / Load Type: Hauling non-hazardous fertilizer, seed, and/or chemicals to golf courses, parks, & other landscaped places.

• Equipment: Flatbed, Manual transmission

• Handling: Load securement (strapping only - NO tarping) Unload the palletized freight with the donkey (forklift).  There may be some hand unloading for smaller orders, so driver is expected to be able to lift 16 to 72 pounds if needed.

CDL B Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL B

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: DOT Medical Card

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL B Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL B on local routes 

• Transport product in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including pallet jack, or by hand unload.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
