<h3><strong>About the Position</strong></h3>

<p>Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a position in Middletown, Connecticut. This role involves driving wide loads with a focus on both driving and working with trailers.</p>

<h3><strong>Pay & Schedule</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Pay Rate: $29 per hour
	<li>Overtime: After 40 hours
	<li>Schedule: Monday – Friday
	<li>Start Time: 5 – 7 AM
	<li>Average Work Hours: 9 - 10 hours per day
</ul>

<h3><strong>Job Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Route Type: Local
	<li>Freight: Wide Loads
	<li>Equipment: Automatic Tractors
	<li>Handling: 25% driving, 75% working with blocking and unblocking trailers
	<li>Coverage Area: Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York (not the boroughs)
	<li>Stops: 3-4 stops per day
</ul>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Operate CDL A vehicles safely and efficiently
	<li>Handle wide loads and ensure proper blocking and unblocking of trailers
	<li>Complete daily routes within the assigned geographic area
	<li>Maintain communication with dispatch regarding any issues or delays
</ul>

<h3><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Valid CDL A 
	<li>1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
	<li>Experience driving oversized/wide loads
</ul>
