<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>Our client is seeking CDL A Drivers for local touch freight deliveries in South Windsor, Connecticut. Drivers will deliver palletized food to grocery stores using 53-foot refrigerated trailers. This is a temporary-to-permanent, on-site opportunity with a pay rate of $35 per hour.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>

  <li><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week</li>
  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Tuesday through Saturday</li>
  <li><strong>Start Time:</strong> Between 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Overtime:</strong> Available after 40 hours</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

  <li>Operate a CDL A vehicle safely and professionally on local routes.</li>
  <li>Deliver palletized food to grocery stores.</li>
  <li>Load and unload freight using an electric pallet jack.</li>
  <li>Complete multiple deliveries in a timely and safe manner.</li>
  <li>Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A license.</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
  <li>Ability to safely handle heavy touch freight and operate an electric pallet jack.</li>
