Full Description
Route & Load Details:
This position supports local operations based in Burnsville, MN. The driver will handle local, home daily grocery deliveries, automatic transmission tractor trailer. Freight consists of grocery product, and drivers are expected to touch freight. Drivers will pick up loaded trailers and unload grocery products at delivery sites using pallet jacks and dollies.
Schedule:
Friday through Monday with start times of either 6:00 PM or 9:00 PM, depending on route assignment. This is a local, home daily position. Overtime is paid after 40 hours.
Job Responsibilities:
The driver is responsible for safely operating assigned Class A equipment on local routes while transporting grocery freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include unloading freight at delivery locations, completing pre trip and post trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and paperwork, communicating effectively with dispatch and operations, and meeting the physical demands of the role.
Minimum Requirements:
The driver must possess a valid Class A CDL and have at least one year of verifiable driving experience. A clean Motor Vehicle Record is required, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the past three years. The driver must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Pay Information:
The pay rate is $35.00 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours worked.
