TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers to support Local operations based in Carol Stream, IL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Delivery Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 6 pm, home daily, no weekends!
- Pay: $29/hour plus OT after 40 (weekdays only)
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Hauling paper products
- Equipment: Automatic transmission
- Handling: Light touch
CDL A Delivery Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport paper products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including live loads and unloads (light touch)
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
