TransForce is seeking a CDL A flatbed driver to support local operations based in St Louis, MO.

Direct Hire

CDL A Details 

<ul>
	<li>
	Schedule: Monday - Friday 5am Sharp NO EXCEPTIONS 
	Averages 60-65 hours per week
	
	<li>Pay: $27 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours
	<li>Must be able to work hard and in very hot environment at 10 - 12 +/- hours per day
	<li>
	Route Type: Local home daily, may deliver as far as 250 miles out in any direction
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: Steel coils and beams
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment:  International & Freightliner day cabs (2023 – 2024) 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Handling: Will secure load as needed and strap & unstrap at delivery site, Driver will be loaded daily by forklift driver and expected to spot the forklift operator as needed
	
</ul>

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A  
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Endorsements: None
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment Experience: 6-12 months heavy haul or oversized loads experience preferred not required
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

CDL A Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>
	Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Transport heavy steel equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

	<li>
	Perform required handling tasks  
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>

	<li>

CDL A Details

	<li>Schedule: Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM start (No Exceptions)
	<li>Average: 60-65 hours per week
	<li>Pay: $25-$30/hr DOE + OT after 40
	<li>Route: Local, home daily (deliveries up to 250 miles out)
	<li>Equipment: 2023-2024 International & Freightliner day cabs
	<li>Freight: Steel coils, beams, and heavy steel products
	<li>No tarping required
</ul>

Job Duties

<ul>
	<li>Secure, strap, and unstrap loads
	<li>Spot the forklift operator during loading as needed
	<li>Complete pre/post-trip inspections and paperwork
	<li>Work independently and safely
	<li>Must be able to work in a very hot environment and handle 10-12+ hour days
</ul>

Requirements

<ul>
	<li>Valid CDL A
	<li>1+ years of recent, verifiable CDL A experience
	<li>Flatbed experience required
	<li>Experience with strapping and spotting loads required
	<li>6-12 months heavy haul or oversized experience preferred
	<li>Clean MVR with no major violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
