CDL A Flatbed Driver - No Touch - $26 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A flatbed driver to support local operations based in Frederick, MD. 

Long Term Flex: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays, 1st shift, home daily

• Pay:  $26 Per hour, $1,200 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Bags of mulch, fertilizer, lawn conditioner etc.

• Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Flatbed, Automatic transmission

• Handling: Strapping

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: Flatbed

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes 

• Transport lawncare materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including strapping and unstrapping

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
