<p>This CDL A Driver position in Grimes, Iowa pays $30.00 per hour. You will deliver medical supplies and healthcare products to hospitals and other healthcare facilities on a local route. TransForce supports this Grimes delivery assignment with a focus on dependable service and driver safety.</p>

<p>This role requires a current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card. Drivers must be comfortable with heavy-touch freight, liftgate operation, electric pallet jack use, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.</p>

<h3><strong>What You&apos;ll Be Doing</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Operate a Class A tractor with a 53-foot trailer.
	<li>Deliver medical supplies and healthcare products primarily to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
	<li>Load and unload freight at customer locations using a liftgate and electric pallet jack.
	<li>Complete heavy-touch deliveries and handle freight throughout the route.
	<li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery and DOT documentation.

<h3><strong>What You Need</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Valid CDL A
	<li>1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
	<li>Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
	<li>Experience safely operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer.
	<li>Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
	<li>Must be at least 21 years old
