TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Albertville, AL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.  
 
CDL A Yard Switcher Details 

<ul>
	<li>Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6 pm to 6 am, avg shift 10-12 hours, home daily
	<li>Pay: $25 Per hour
	<li>Route Type: Local, from the dock door to the yard and occasionally to buildings across the street
	<li>Freight / Load Type: Automotive parts
	<li>Equipment: Yard Truck, Automatic transmission
	<li>Handling: No-touch
</ul>

 
CDL A Yard Switcher Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>License: CDL A
	<li>Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	<li>Equipment Experience: Yard truck experience preferred
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
</ul>

 
CDL A Yard Switcher Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>Safely operate equipment on local routes 
	<li>Safely maneuver trailers around the yard, occasionally to other facilities across the street
	<li>Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	<li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	<li>Meet the physical demands of the role
</ul>
