Full Description

CDL A Truck Driver | $25/hr | Dalton, GA

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Dalton, GA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Truck Driver Details 
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am, No Holidays, Occasional Saturday
  • Pay: $25/hr 
  • Route Type: Local, delivering to AL, GA, TN, NC, or SC.
  • Freight / Load Type: Packaging Materials
  • Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dry Van, Forklift (Automatic & Manual)
  • Handling: Light Touch, customer unloads, occasional Pallet offload.

CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:  
  • License: CDL A
  • Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
  • Equipment Experience: Forklift experience preferred, but will train
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:  
  • Safely operate equipment on local routes 
  • Transport packaging materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
  • Perform required handling tasks, including occasionally offloading with a pallet jack
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
  • Meet the physical demands of the role
