Local CDL A Driver - $31 Per Hour plus OT

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Newark, OH.

TTP:  This position offers steady work and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: 4 week days & at least 1 weekend day - start time varies between 3am & 8am

• Pay:  $31 Per Hour plus OT after 40, $1,400 - $1,800 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Dairy products, Live unload

• Equipment:  Slip Seat, Reefer, Day Cabs, Automatic transmissions

• Handling: pulling off pallets with an electric pallet jack & climbing in the trailer to strap in the load with 3 straps

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 6 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A on local routes 

• Transport dairy products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
