<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>Our client is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver for a local, on-site position in Midland, Texas. This role combines local deliveries with warehouse responsibilities, transporting PVC pipe, valves, fittings, and underground waterworks materials. Drivers will operate a Ram 550 with a 30-foot fifth-wheel trailer or a Ford F250 and must be comfortable securing and handling their own loads.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>$27 per hour</li>
  <li>Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,100</li>
  <li>Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.</li>
  <li>40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Local routes in and around Midland, Texas, with deliveries that may be up to four hours away</li>
  <li>Temp-to-perm employment opportunity</li>

  <li>Approximately 70% driving and 30% warehouse work</li>
  <li>Use a smartphone for pre-delivery and post-delivery tracking</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Operate assigned vehicles for local deliveries.</li>
  <li>Transport and deliver waterworks materials safely and efficiently.</li>
  <li>Pick materials and assist with loading freight.</li>
  <li>Secure loads using straps and verify that freight is properly prepared for transport.</li>
  <li>Operate a sit-down forklift.</li>
  <li>Unload or assist with unloading materials at delivery locations.</li>
  <li>Complete delivery tickets and obtain customer signatures.</li>
  <li>Process returns and local pickup orders.</li>
  <li>Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.</li>
  <li>Report vehicle issues or defects promptly.</li>
  <li>Complete required delivery tracking using a smartphone.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A CDL</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>At least one year of experience operating the assigned class of vehicle</li>
  <li>Flatbed driving experience and the ability to secure loads</li>
  <li>Experience operating a sit-down forklift</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
  <li>Must be at least 21 years old</li>
</ul>
