CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $30 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Lockport, IL. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am Start time

• Pay:  $30 Per hour, $1,100 - $1,200 estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local

• Handling: Touch freight, must be able to continually lift, push and pull at least 50lbs and occasionally in excess of 100lbs and up to 160lbs

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, must also have city delivery experience in the Chicago area

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including touch freight

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
