Local CDL A Driver - $27.50 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Houston, TX. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Friday & Saturday every week. Pickup in Houston, goes to DFW, drops load grabs another load and returns.  Generally 12-13 hour trip

• Pay:  $27.50 Per hour

• Route Type: Local

• Equipment: 53'

• Handling: Some touch freight, mostly drop & hook or live load/unload

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Hazmat & TWIC card required

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport general merchandise in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including, some touch freight, drop and hook or live load/unload

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
