Local CDL A Route Delivery - $30 Per Hour + OT
Location: Center Valley, PA
About the Position
Our client is seeking experienced Local CDL A drivers for route delivery. This position offers competitive pay and a consistent schedule, allowing drivers to be home daily. The role involves delivering freight primarily to Aldi stores, with all freight being palletized and requiring light touch handling.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay Rate: $30 per hour, overtime after 40 hours
- Schedule: Friday to Monday, with an optional 5th day
- Start Times: 4 PM, 5 PM, or 6 PM
- Aprox. 45 to 50 hours per week
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Food products on pallets
- Equipment: Electric pallet jack for unloading
- Handling: Light touch, unloading only at stores
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver freight to designated Aldi stores
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Utilize electric pallet jacks for unloading
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
