Local CDL B Route Driver - $27 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver to support local operations based in Ashland, VA. 

CDL B Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday, 3am - 7am dispatch 

• Pay:  $27 Per Hour

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Medical supplies

• Equipment: 36'-48' Reefer with liftgates, Automatic Transmission

• Handling:  Heavy Touch, drivers load for route, unload using pallet jacks and liftgates 

CDL B Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL B

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: 1+ year of route delivery with pallet jack experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL B Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL B equipment on local routes 

• Transport medical supplies in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including loading and unloading using pallet jacks and liftgates

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
