<strong>About the Position</strong></h3>

<p>Our client is seeking a CDL-A Flatbed Driver for local operations in Roanoke, Virginia. This position offers home-daily routes, automatic transmission equipment, and the opportunity to transport roofing shingles and supplies.</p>

<h3><br>
<strong>Pay & Schedule Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Pay: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
	<li>Schedule: Monday through Friday with a 7:00 a.m. start
	<li>Home daily
</ul>

<strong>Job Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Route type: Local, making 3 - 8 stops per day
	<li>Freight: Drivers will be responsible for delivering roofing shingles and materials to different job sites in the area within 2 hours of Roanoke,  VA
	<li>Equipment: 28-foot flatbed with Moffett attachment.
	<li>Handling: Strapping and unloading with a Moffett forklift
</ul>

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Loading and delivering materials to job sites and internal company locations
	<li>Traveling between pick-up locations and regional branches
	<li>Communicates necessary information in a timely manner to the Warehouse Manager
	<li>Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and checkout process
	<li>Assists with transporting company vehicles/assets as needed
	<li>Fills in for other drivers during any work absences, including but not limited to sicknesses and vacations
	<li>Performs all duties as scheduled by Warehouse Manager and assists as directed to meet branch needs
	<li>Drivers will assist with small tasks in the warehouse if needed to get the 8 hours.

<strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Valid CDL-A license
	<li>2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
	<li>Flatbed and Moffett forklift experience required
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
</ul>
