CDL-A Flatbed Driver | $26 | Shepherdstown, WV

TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Flatbed Driver to support Local operations based in Shepherdstown, WV.

Long Term Flex: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL-A Flatbed Driver Details: 
  • Schedule: [Mon-Fri w/ some Sat / 1st Shift / home daily
  • Pay: $26 Per hour
  • Route Type: Local
  • Freight / Load Type: Bags of mulch, fertilizer, lawn conditioner, etc. / flatbed strapping required
  • Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Flatbed, Automatic
  • Handling: Strapping
CDL-A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements: 
  • License: CDL-A 
  • Experience: 1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Endorsements: None
  • Equipment Experience: Flatbed
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL-A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities: 
  • Safely operate CDL-A Flatbed on local routes
  • Transport lawncare materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform required handling tasks including strapping & unstrapping
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
