<p>Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Driver for a local delivery position in Ashland, Virginia. This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, home-daily routes, and deliveries of palletized medical supplies to hospitals throughout the region.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>

  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday through Friday</li>
  <li><strong>Start Time:</strong> Approximately 5:30 p.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week</li>
  <li><strong>Home Time:</strong> Home daily</li>
  <li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Temp-to-perm</li>

  <li><strong>Trailer:</strong> 48-foot trailer, with a 28-foot trailer used on Wednesdays</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Safely operate an automatic tractor-trailer on local delivery routes.</li>
  <li>Deliver palletized medical supplies to hospitals.</li>
  <li>Safely unload freight at delivery locations.</li>
  <li>Handle light touch freight as required.</li>
  <li>Maintain accurate delivery documentation.</li>
  <li>Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and customer safety requirements.</li>
  <li>Complete assigned routes while providing professional customer service.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A.</li>
  <li>3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Valid DOT Medical Card.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
  <li>Ability to safely handle palletized medical supplies.</li>
  <li>Experience with touch freight preferred.</li>
</ul>
