CDL A Truck Driver - $1,800 Per Week - AM Starts - Local
Austinburg, OH
About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated CDL A Truck Driver for a local delivery position. This role offers guaranteed pay and the opportunity to work with modern equipment while ensuring a professional appearance for customer interactions.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Guaranteed pay of $1,800/week if the driver works 5 days
- Flat rate of $360/day for less than 5 days
- Monday to Saturday operation
- Dispatch times vary from 1 AM to 8 AM
- 10-12 hour days with an average of 2-3 stops
- Local home daily
Job Details
- Route Type: Local Delivery
- Freight: Hauling FAK (Freight of All Kinds)
- Equipment: Driving 2022 & ’23 tractors with sleepers pulling 53’ refrigerated trailers (all automatics)
- Handling: No touch freight
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to grocery store docks, requiring good backing experience in tight quarters
- Maintain a professional appearance while interacting with customers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Steel-toe boots required; safety vest provided
