Full Description
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in South Holland, IL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 5am (until finished)
- Pay: $29.00/hr or $30/hr with Haz – All straight time
- Route Type: Local, No Touch, Drop and Hook
- Freight / Load Type: Intermodal containers
- Equipment: Day Cab Tractors, intermodal containers
- Handling: No Touch
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: Class A
- Experience: 1+ verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operated equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
