TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Vestal, NY. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Truck Driver Details 

<ul>

	Schedule: M-F, occasional Saturdays. 5AM - 7AM start,10 hour days.
	
</ul>

<ul>

	Pay:  $28 Per Hour
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Route Type: local
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: empty bottles and cans
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment: 48 ft rail gate dry van
	
	<li>Handling: Heavy touch - moving bags of empty bottles and cans, weighing up to 50lbs per bag, into the truck
</ul>

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment Experience: Rail gate dry vans
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>
	Safely operate 48ft rail gate dry vans on local routes 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Transport empty bottles and cans in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform required handling tasks including carrying and loading bags of cans into the back of the truck 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting 50 pound bags and loading them onto the trailer
	
</ul>
