Non-CDL Driver - $18.50 -$22.00 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL driver to support local operations based in North Charleston, SC. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

Non-CDL Details: 

• Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 5am - 7am Start time 

• Pay:  $18.50 -$22.00 Per hour + OT after 40 hours

• Route Type: Local deliveries, 8-20 stops per day

• Freight / Load Type: Produce

• Equipment: 22' - 26' Box Truck

• Handling: Heavy touch freight, pallet jack and dolly use

Non-CDL Minimum Requirements:  

• License: Non-CDL

• Experience: 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: DOT Med Card

• Equipment Experience: 6-12 months of local delivery in a 22' - 26' Box Truck

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

Non-CDL Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate Non-CDL equipment on local routes 

• Transport produce in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including touch freight and the ability to continually lift 50 pounds on a repeated basis

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
