CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $30 Per Hour  

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Livonia, MI. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am Start time, 8-10 hours per day

• Pay:  $30 Per hour + potential OT after 40 hours

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Carpet pad/ Carpet sections/ Rugs/ Materials

• Handling: Heavy touch freight with pallet jack and hand unload

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including heavy touch freight

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including ability to lift up to 90 lbs. max
