We are currently seeking a Local CDL Driver for our client in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $35 per hour and is a long-term opportunity.

About the Position

The Local CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting goods in a timely and efficient manner, primarily handling light touch freight. This role requires a commitment to safety and compliance with all DOT regulations.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $35 per hour
• Schedule: 2nd Shift (noon start), Friday to Monday

Job Details

• Route Type: Local
• Freight: Groceries
• Equipment: Reefer, day cab/sleeper
• Handling: Light Touch Freight - Electric pallet jack for unloading

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle
• Transport goods to designated locations
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and records

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Valid CDL license
