Position: CDL A Driver
Location: Dallas, TX 75227
Pay Range: $1,250-$1,450 per week
Position Summary
CK Transportation is hiring professional CDL A Drivers in the Dallas, Texas 75227 area to support our multi-state freight operations across the Midwest and Eastern regions. This position is built for drivers who prioritize equipment reliability, steady mileage, and structured home time while maintaining full DOT compliance and safety standards.
Our operational model is focused on reducing downtime, optimizing route efficiency, and supporting consistent weekly scheduling for drivers who want stable earnings without unpredictable dispatch.
Weekly Driving and Freight
Drivers in this position regularly run 2,400 to 3,000 miles per week depending on routing and availability. Freight is 100 percent no-touch, with the majority of loads utilizing drop-and-hook functionality to limit delays and improve productivity. Dispatch planning is designed to maximize on-road time while remaining compliant with hours-of-service regulations.
Pay and Earnings Structure
Drivers can expect to earn between $1,250 and $1,450 per week based on mileage, route assignments, and individual performance. After completing 30 days of active employment, drivers also qualify for a guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,000 during periods of lower volume, creating added financial stability.
Home Time and Time Off
This role provides 6 total days of home time each month. Drivers may request weekly home time with a minimum of 8 days' advance notice to assist with planning. Safe truck parking at home is required for taking equipment during time off periods. Dispatch can resume directly from your home following approved time off.
Equipment and Technology
Drivers are assigned 2020 or newer Kenworth T680 trucks with automatic transmissions and upgraded sleeper configurations. All trucks are professionally maintained to reduce downtime and ensure reliability across long-distance routes.
