<p>Our client is seeking a dependable Local CDL A Flatbed Driver for a home-daily position hauling heavy steel equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, independent judgment, and the ability to work in a hot industrial environment.</p>

<h3><strong>Pay & Schedule Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Pay starts at $29 per hour, depending on experience.
	<li>Potential pay range is $25–$30 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
	<li>Overtime paid after 40 hours.
	<li>Start time is 5:00 a.m. sharp with no exceptions.
	<li>Typical workdays may last 10–12 hours.
	<li>Home daily.

<strong>Job Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li><strong>Route type:</strong> Local deliveries, with routes extending up to approximately 250 miles in any direction.
	<li><strong>Freight:</strong> Heavy steel equipment and oversized loads.
	<li><strong>Equipment:</strong> Newer 2023–2024 International and Freightliner day cabs.
	<li><strong>Handling:</strong> Light-touch work. Loads are generally handled by a forklift operator, while the driver assists with spotting as needed.
	<li>Tarping is not required.

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Operate a CDL A flatbed truck safely on local routes.
	<li>Spot and strap loads as required.
	<li>Secure loads appropriately before transport.
	<li>Strap and unstrap freight at delivery locations.
	<li>Coordinate with forklift operators during loading and unloading.
	<li>Work independently while maintaining reliable and trustworthy performance.
	<li>Perform job duties safely in a hot industrial environment.
</ul>

<strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
	<li>Valid CDL A license.
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
	<li>Experience spotting and strapping loads.
	<li>Ability to work independently and handle physically demanding job conditions.
</ul>

<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>6–12 months of experience hauling heavy steel equipment.
	<li>At least 6 months of oversized-load experience.
