Responsibilities
Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently over Northeast regional routes.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Transport dry van and refrigerated freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation required by company policy and federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Assist with loading and unloading freight when necessary to meet delivery schedules.
Report any vehicle mechanical issues or accidents promptly to management.
Requirements
Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of recent CDL-A truck driving experience.
Ability to operate dry van and refrigerated trailer equipment.
Good knowledge of Northeast regional routes and regulations.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays as required.
Benefits
Base pay is 70c a mile for a 2 years driver. Pay scales with experience, flexibility and availability to deliver into NYC.
$2500 referral bonus for referring other drivers.
$100 bonus per trip into NYC.
$50 Stop-Off bonus.
$25/hr for non self-inflicted detentions.
