Local CDL A Truck Driver - $25.42 Per Hour + Health And Wellness

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Jacksonville, FL.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details: 

• Schedule: Schedule and dispatch times may vary based on operational needs, drivers can expect 40+ hours per week

• Pay:  $25.42 Per hour + $4.80 Health & Wellness up to 40 hours

• Route Type: Short and Long-haul routes within Florida

• Freight / Load Type: Hauling mail

• Handling: Light touch freight, handle rolling carts and assist with unloading as needed

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including touch freight

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
