Description
Fiberglass Coatings, LLC (FGCI), a leading distributor and manufacturer of composite materials, is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver with a HazMat endorsement to join our team.
If you're looking for a driving position that allows you to stay local and be home every night, this could be a great fit. Our drivers make deliveries to commercial customers throughout Florida while providing the reliable, professional service our customers expect.
Responsibilities
Complete all deliveries as scheduled for the assigned area in a timely manner.
Provide excellent customer service.
Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
Inspect truck before and after trip.
Properly track and document activity log.
Maintains and ensures truck is clean and maintained.
Immediately report issues or incidents.
Abide by local and state laws.
Adhere to safety rules, traffic laws and all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Clean Class A Drivers' License.
Hazmat Endorsement required.
One year's experience transporting hazardous materials required
Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 - 75 pounds.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented.
