Full Description
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Aurora IL,. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday- Friday
- Shift: 5am-5pm
- Pay: $30 Per hour, $1,775 - $1,875 Estimated weekly pay
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Recycling Material
- Performing Drop and hook with Live Load and Unload as required
- Equipment: Automatic Truck pulling 53’ Dry Vans
- Handling: Recycled Goods
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operated equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
