As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Home daily with a consistent schedule
 
Limited road driving or highway traffic
 
No touch freight
 
No customer deliveries or multi-stop routes

$22.00 per hour starting pay
 
$1.00 shift differential (dependent on schedule)
 
Overtime available after 40 hours

Job Responsibilities
 
 
Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
 
Perform drop and hook operations
 
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
 
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
 
Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
 
Maintainaccuratelogs and documentation
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Valid Class A CDL
 
Current DOT Medical Card
 
Safe driving record
 
Experience operating tractor-trailers
 
Ability to work in all weather conditions
 
Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
