TransForce is seeking a CDL A flatbed driver to support regional operations based in Kansas City, MO.  Home Daily. 
 
 
 
CDL A Details 
<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Schedule: Monday - Friday 5am Sharp NO EXCEPTIONS 
	Averages 60-65 hours per week
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Pay: $29+ Per Hour + OT after 40 hours
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Must be able to work hard and in very hot environment at 10 - 12 +/- hours per day
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Must have flatbed experience 
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Route Type: Local home daily, may deliver as far as 250 miles out in any direction
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Freight / Load Type: Steel coils and beams
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Equipment:  International & Freightliner day cabs (2023 – 2024) 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Handling: Will secure load as needed and strap & unstrap at delivery site, Driver will be loaded daily by forklift driver and expected to spot the forklift operator as needed
</ul>
CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">License: CDL A  
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Endorsements: None
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Equipment Experience: 6-12 months heavy haul or oversized loads experience preferred not required
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
</ul>
CDL A Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Transport heavy steel equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Perform required handling tasks  
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
</ul>

<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0in;">Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable] 
</ul>
