TITLE: CDL A Driver
DIVISION: Transportation
REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor
FLSA: Non-Exempt-Hourly

Job Opportunity: Class A Drivers

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Gold Star Foods, a premier nutritional food distributor in the United States, is currently hiring Class A drivers for our Dixon, CA location. We pride ourselves on creating a work environment where our employees feel valued and excited to come to work every day.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Starting Pay rate: $27.50/hour
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location:86 Jackson Concourse, Pendergrass, GA

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform route deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern California
  • Drive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacks
  • Use a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record.

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • Monday-Friday
  • Day Shift StartTimes:4am until route is complete
  • Average:45-55 hoursin a 5-day work week

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Class A Driver's License
  • DOT Medical Certificate

  • Motor Vehicle Record (10 years)
  • Proficiency in driving a manual transmission
  • TWIC card a plus
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug, background screenings, and fingerprinting
