<p>Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local delivery position in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role involves delivering refrigerated, palletized freight to retail locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Pay rate: $30 per hour</li>
  <li>Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday</li>
  <li>Start time: 1:00 p.m.</li>
  <li>Hours per week: 40</li>
  <li>Overtime opportunities may be available after 40 hours</li>
  <li>Employment type: Temp-to-perm</li>
  <li>Start date: August 11, 2026</li>

<h3>Job Details</h3>

  <li>Route type: Local</li>
  <li>Freight: Touch freight</li>
  <li>Equipment: Automatic tractors and refrigerated trailers</li>
  <li>Handling: Light touch; unload wrapped, palletized freight using an electric pallet jack</li>
  <li>Delivery area: Approximately 20 to 110 miles throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut</li>
  <li>Typical workload: One to two stores per trailer and two to three trailers per night, serving approximately two to six stores</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Complete safe and timely local deliveries</li>
  <li>Perform dock deliveries to the back rooms of retail stores</li>
  <li>Unload wrapped, palletized freight using an electric pallet jack</li>
  <li>Inspect and handle freight carefully throughout the delivery process</li>
  <li>Maintain compliance with all applicable transportation and safety regulations</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>CDL A license</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
</ul>
