TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Houston, TX. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details

	Schedule: Must be available 6 days a week for work
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Pay:  $27.50 Per hour
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Route Type: Local, 12-13 hour trip
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Freight / Load Type: General merchandise, live load/unload
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Equipment: Dry Van
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Handling: Mostly Drop & Hook, some touch freight
	
</ul>

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

<ul>
	<li>
	License: CDL A
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Endorsements: Hazmat & TWIC Card required
	
	<li>
	Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
	
	<li>
	Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
	
</ul>

CDL A Responsibilities:  

<ul>
	<li>
	Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Transport general merchandise in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform required handling tasks
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
	
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>
	Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
	
</ul>

	<li>
