CDL A Truck Driver | $31 to $34 Per Hour DOE | Columbus, OH  

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Columbus, Ohio. 

The driver should have their Tanker endorsement and the ability to drive a manual transmission. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Truck Driver Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 8AM start time; 8-10 hours per day 

• Pay:  $31 to $34 per hour, depending on experience

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: Used grease

• Equipment: Manual transmission - tanker 

• Handling: emptying grease traps 

CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Tanker

• Equipment Experience: Tanker and MANUAL TRANSMISSION

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate tankers on local routes 

• Transport used grease in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including emptying grease traps 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to lift 75 pounds if needed
