<h3><strong>About the Position</strong></h3>

<p>Our client is seeking professional CDL Class A Drivers to support grocery store deliveries based out of Morton, IL. Drivers will be responsible for operating Freightliner day cabs with 53-foot refrigerated trailers while delivering freight to grocery store locations throughout the state of Illinois. This position involves touch freight, requiring drivers to load and unload trailers using an electric pallet jack.</p>

<strong>Pay & Schedule Details</strong></h3>

	<li><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $32 per hour
	<li><strong>Estimated Weekly:</strong> $1,600
	<li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday
	<li><strong>Work Hours:</strong> 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM
	<li><strong>Average Route Time:</strong> 8–10 hours per day
	<li><strong>Average Stops:</strong> 1–2 stops per route

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Safely operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer.
	<li>Deliver refrigerated freight to grocery store locations throughout Illinois.
	<li>Complete dock deliveries at grocery store facilities.
	<li>Load and unload trailers using an electric pallet jack.
	<li>Ensure freight is handled safely and delivered on time.
	<li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
	<li>Follow all DOT, FMCSA, Penske, and customer safety requirements.
	<li>Maintain a clean, professional appearance while representing our client.

<strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Valid CDL Class A license.
	<li>1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
	<li>Comfortable with touch freight and dock deliveries.
	<li>Must be able to work overnight shifts.
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
