Job Description At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry.
 
 
Home Time:
 At our Hopkinsville location our drivers do primarily 
LOCAL 
work for a Dedicated account. Drivers at this location are expected to be 
HOME MOST NIGHTS
. There will be times that there is an occasional night out on the road based on customer needs. 
Currently the drivers average one night out per month.
 When there is a need for the driver to stay out overnight, Bulkmatic provides a hotel room and a per diem for all overnight stays. There is some weekend work and
 drivers should expect to work an average of one weekend per month.
 
 
Pay
:
 We recently increased pay at this location and Bulkmatic drivers in Hopkinsville are now averaging between 
$80,000
 - 
$90,000 per year.
 Plus we are now offering a
 $3,000 BONUS 
to new driver hires! Ask our recruiters about the Weekly Pay Incentive program that allows Drivers to earn extra cash each week!
 
 
About the Job:
 Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. Wehave extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. 
No Pnuematic Experience Required.

Be at least 23 years old
 
Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience. 
 
Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
 
 
 
Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
 
Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
 
Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
 
You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
 
Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
 
Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely
