Local CDL A Driver - Heavy Touch - $25 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in College Park, GA.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details: 

• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 12am Start time, 8-9 hours per day

• Pay:  $25 Per hour, NO OT

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Automotive parts

• Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dry Van

• Handling: Heavy touch freight 

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: Delivery experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport automotive parts in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including unloading with liftgate and electric pallet jack

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
