Full Description
Class A CDL Local Port Driver – Evening Shift
Location: Fontana, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 PM Start
Pay: $29/hour + Overtime after 40 hours
We’re hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for local port routes in Southern California. This is a steady, evening shift position with consistent hours and minimal touch freight.
What You’ll Do:
- Transport loads between ports, warehouses, and customer locations
- Run local routes (home daily)
- Complete 1–2 stops per shift
- Operate manual transmission tractors
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly pay: $29/hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- Evening start time (6 PM)
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL (no automatic restriction)
- Minimum 18 months tractor-trailer experience
- 3–6 months port experience required
- Valid TWIC Card
- Must be 23 years or older
Driving Record Requirements:
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- No major violations in the past 5 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
