<p>TransForce is seeking a qualified CDL A Driver to support local operations for our client in Reading, Pennsylvania. This long-term flex opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and a driver-focused team environment.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $28 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours</li>
  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday through Friday with start times between midnight and 6:00 a.m.</li>
  <li><strong>Work Week:</strong> Four-day work week</li>
  <li><strong>Home Time:</strong> Home daily</li>
  <li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Long-term flex</li>
  <li><strong>Anticipated Start Date:</strong> April 2, 2026</li>
</ul>

<h3>Job Details</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Route Type:</strong> Local routes, with occasional layovers possible</li>
  <li><strong>Freight:</strong> No-touch freight</li>
  <li><strong>Equipment:</strong> CDL A equipment with manual transmission</li>
  <li><strong>Handling:</strong> No-touch freight handling</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes</li>
  <li>Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards</li>
  <li>Complete required handling tasks</li>
  <li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections</li>
  <li>Maintain accurate logs and paperwork</li>
  <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations</li>
  <li>Meet the physical demands of the role</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A</li>
  <li>2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Manual transmission experience</li>
  <li>Tanker endorsement required after 30 days of hire</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
</ul>
