Local CDL A Yard Driver - 2nd Shift - $28 Per Hour - OT 

TransForce is seeking a CDL A yard driver to support local operations based in Compton, CA. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4pm - 12:30am

• Pay:  $28 Per Hour + OT, $1,100 - $1,200 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local Yard Driver

• Equipment: Yard truck

• Handling: Ability to lift up to 50lbs if needed

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Equipment Experience: Must know how to back up into tight spaces

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment in the yard and on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
