<p>Our client is seeking a safe and professional CDL-A driver to support local delivery operations in Waukegan, Illinois. This role involves delivering palletized, shrink-wrapped medical supplies and equipment to healthcare customers.</p>

  <li>Pay rate: $32.54 per hour</li>
  <li>Schedule: 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.</li>
  <li>Hours per week: 40</li>
  <li>Employment type: Temp-to-perm</li>

  <li>Freight: Palletized, shrink-wrapped medical supplies and equipment</li>
  <li>Equipment: Tractor-trailer with liftgate trailer and electric pallet jack</li>

  <li>Lifting requirements: Up to 40 pounds</li>
  <li>Work setting: On-site</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Operate a tractor-trailer with a liftgate trailer safely and professionally.</li>
  <li>Complete safe and on-time deliveries to hospitals, surgery centers, dialysis units, and distribution centers.</li>
  <li>Follow load sheets and delivery instructions.</li>
  <li>Unload palletized freight using an electric pallet jack.</li>
  <li>Perform occasional handcart work and manual freight handling.</li>
  <li>Provide professional service at healthcare facilities and other delivery locations.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL-A license.</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
  <li>Ability to safely unload freight using an electric pallet jack.</li>
  <li>Comfortable making deliveries to healthcare facilities.</li>
  <li>Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts.</li>
  <li>Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required.</li>
</ul>
