<p>Our client is seeking experienced Class A Day Drivers to support local operations in Scarborough, Maine. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $36.50 per hour</li>
  <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday through Friday, daytime routes</li>
  <li><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week</li>
  <li><strong>Route distance:</strong> 50–100 miles</li>
</ul>

<h3>Job Details</h3>

  <li><strong>Route type:</strong> Local day routes</li>
  <li><strong>Stops:</strong> Approximately 15–20 stops per route</li>
  <li><strong>Freight:</strong> Freight of all kinds</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Safely operate equipment on assigned routes.</li>
  <li>Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.</li>
  <li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.</li>
  <li>Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.</li>
  <li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.</li>
  <li>Meet the physical demands of the role, including heavy-touch freight handling.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.</li>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.</li>
  <li>X endorsement and doubles/triples endorsement required.</li>
  <li>Electronic logging device experience required.</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.</li>
</ul>
